Human Resources Specialist – Johannesburg North – Fluent in Mandarin

A graduated and experienced Human Resources Generalist is required for this large global group, established in South Africa since 2012. The Group provides leading edge and innovative surveillance products and solutions to clients across the world from 33 subsidiaries and in Africa from the Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban offices. Clients are companies as well as individuals, supplying home tech, industrial automation and automotive electronics solutions. Take responsibility for the overall Human Resources Management function for this fast growing business.

Location: Johannesburg North
Purpose: To provide a relevant and impactfull Human Resources Management service to the South African operation of a global group.
Deliver policies and procedures that are relevant and localised for a South African Labour force.
Salary: R500 000
Package: R500 000 tctc per annum incl benefits, negotiable
Country: ZA
Minimum requirements: Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management.  A post graduate qualification and or knowledge and expertise in the application of South African Employment and Labour legislation.  At least 4 years’ working experience in a Human Resources Generalist Management role within a corporate business.  Experience gained in a global company is advantageous.  MUST be fluent in English and MANDARIN.   The ability to work independently – crafting and implementing HR policies relevant and localised to a high-tech environment. Experience in recruitment and payroll administration.
Additional comments:
Reporting to the MD in SA and the HR Executive in China, you need to be self-sufficient to lead the HR function in its totality. High level competence in the recruitment of staff for this fast-growing company. Administer the payroll for all employees. Facilitate healthy employee relations and minimise any industrial relations / labour risks.
