Coordinating policy research, initiating, and driving policy positions, through stakeholder engagement.
Strategic partnering is central to this role.

Non Negotiable minimum requirements:
* Master’s degree or equivalent in public policy, economics, political science, development studies, public management, or related field from a recognized institution.
* 10 Years’ experience in the public sector management or program management in Urban Management and Urban development space.
* Preference will be for NGO and NPO experience not only public sector experience.
* Strong network of contacts within Local government, Provincial Government and/or Private Sector.
*Experience in multi-disciplinary environments.
*Theoretical and practical expertise in policy generation and negotiations with local and provincial governments.
*Has a proven track record of resources, partnerships, management of internal and external relationships.
*Deep understanding of the policy value chain.
