Manager: Corporate and Business Planning
Strategy & Performance Portfolio | R864 056 TCTC | Centurion
This is not a “report writer” role. It’s a mission-critical strategy function designed for a thinker and doer who understands the realities of the agriculture sector and the commercial imperatives of development institutions. The Manager: Corporate and Business Planning sits at the centre of strategic enablement—coordinating planning cycles, driving execution frameworks, and producing insight-rich reporting that informs high-level decision-making.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Leading the full corporate strategy and business planning process, ensuring alignment with agricultural development and commercial priorities.
- Translating institutional strategy into measurable performance frameworks across agri-finance, support services, and operations.
- Managing delivery of key reporting outputs including strategic scorecards, quarterly National Treasury submissions, and integrated annual reports.
- Tracking organisational performance against objectives and surfacing sector-relevant insights and risks.
- Supporting the executive team with strategic workshops, planning materials, and performance reviews.
Ideal Profile
- Degree in Business, Economics, Agricultural Finance, or Development Planning.
- 4–5 years’ experience in strategy development, ideally within a development finance, agriculture, or commercial business environment.
- Strong track record of linking strategic planning to measurable performance outcomes.
- Proven ability to navigate both public-sector reporting protocols and commercial performance expectations.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and business planning software (e.g., dashboards, scorecards, performance tools).
This role is suited to a precision strategist grounded in agriculture and fluent in commercial realities—able to shape how strategy translates into delivery in a complex, high-impact organisation.
