pinpoint one human resources – our impact on emerging artists and the South African Art scene

Clive H Viveiros together with his business partners initiated the pinpoint one human resources collaboration with Artist Proof Studio a community print making centre in Newtown, Johannesburg. APS, as it is known by, It provides skills training in a range of printmaking techniques – relief printing, etching, drypoint, monoprinting, to ensure the economic sustainability of young emerging Black print makers and artists from 2001 to 2013.

This very successful collaboration resulted in pinpoint one human resources being awarded 3 Business Arts South Africa(BASA) awards over this 13-year collaboration.

The successful careers of Nelson Makamo, Bambo Sibiya, Themba Kumalo and Philip Modibe all who started their careers with a pinpoint one human resources sponsorship and their first solo exhibitions have in turn contributed towards income generation and recognition for the studio.

pinpoint one human resources provides effective executive search and recruitment services in the areas of C-suite, specialist and critical skills and human resources solutions across industries and professional disciplines for clients in South Africa and Africa.

pinpoint one human resources has had a long-term committed and passionate involvement in promoting and supporting young emerging South African artists.  Since 2002 until 2013, pinpoint one human resources was a patron of Artist Proof Studio, an artist education centre and paper and printmaking studio, who develops talented and emerging artists from underserved communities. We sponsore scholarships for artists to study a 3-year arts education programme, hosted art exhibitions to expose the artists and their works to a wider audience with buying potential and transferred business skills to support the artists own economic sustainability.
