Florence validates the above as she is a graduate in Industrial Psychology, Psychology and Communications, a Registered Personnel Practitioner from the SA Board for Personnel Practice, an accredited HayMcBerr competency assessor and practiced as a Cognitive Assessment Practitioner. She offers 18 years’ corporate experience gained in listed companies, being responsible for leading the Human Resources strategies and processes in Sub-Saharan Africa. At pinpoint one, she has successfully delivered on numerous executive and senior management assignments over the years, contributing to the clients’ business objectives and the credibility of this values driven firm.

Florence, Clive H Viveiros and Lizelle Thom-Pohl (late) founded pinpoint one in 1999. She was the Managing Director for the first 10 years establishing and successfully leading this South African representative and professional service centric company.

Florence was responsible for the Human Resourcing function, across the industrial manufacturing and the healthcare business operations of AFROX nationally and for the Southern African operations. The Human Resourcing function included recruitment, succession planning, talent mapping, psychometric and cognitive assessments focused on career and competency development plans, the management of the bursary schemes focused on attracting engineers and engineering technicians from all engineering disciplines into the company. She was also the custodian of the development of line managers to be competent in these responsibilities within their business units.
Her prior role was as a generalist human resources practitioner in the Mining industry.

Activities and Societies: Member of the South African Institute of People Management and of the Institute of Directors and served as Board Member of Business and Arts South Africa for a period of 7 years. She has a keen interest in visual arts, jazz and classical music. She loved endurance running having completed the Comrades Marathon 89km 9 times and the Two Oceans Ultra Marathon 56km 13 times. She loves entertaining friends with good food and wine and relaxes with interesting reading and the company of her cats.
